When my husband and I were looking for childcare for our three year old son, Grace Edgett Child Development Center was highly recommended by a close friend. At the time, I was pregnant with my daughter and thirteen months later I had another baby. The care that all three of our children received at GECDC was priceless. Every teacher has loved our children like their own. As parents, this was so comforting knowing we could drop them off each day and watch each teacher welcome them with kind words and loving hugs. Every teacher made each of my children feel loved, protected and special when Mommy and Daddy were at work. Ms. Mary and Ms. Vena are wonderful ladies and we love them like family. They have gone above and beyond their roles to make sure every child feels happy, secure and safe.

 

This is our last year at Grace Edgett as our youngest will be in Kindergarten next fall. It breaks my heart knowing that we will have to move on from this beautiful phase in our children’s lives. Words cannot express how lucky we are to have had such wonderful and loving influences in our children’s lives.

We moved to Northern Kentucky my daughter was just 1 year old. She stayed at Grace Edgett until she graduated from preschool. When she went to school the following year, her kindergarten teacher noted how well prepared she was and I know it was due in part to the great care she received in preschool with Miss Emma Jo.

 

Since then, we have also entrusted Grace Edgett with the care of our two younger boys. Mary and Vena have always been so sweet, loving and responsible with my children. Beyond the structure that they offer for the kids, I love that they incorporate spiritual teachings into the children’s day. I appreciate that they are ever present and available when I drop off and pick up my children. Grace Edgett feels like family and I cherish the memories they have created for my children.
